Michael Hawks AKA the Dragon
Michael is currently the Liaison Librarian for the Science & Engineering Faculty at QUT. He graduated with a Graduate Diploma in Information Management and Librarianship, and has spent the last 5 years working in academic libraries, including QUT Law Library, Griffith University and the University of Western Australia; and at the State Library of Queensland as the QULOC Graduate Librarian. He also holds an Honours degree in English and Communications from the University of Western Australia, writing his thesis on the intersection of game design and the reality TV show Survivor. Michael is always looking for the opportunity to turn a wide variety of interests into work related tasks (though this is mostly to justify spending all day googling picture of dogs in hats).
